I've been experimenting with the electrolysis of water to make hydrogen and oxygen. My Beetle is now getting between 45 and 50 miles per gallon, so I'm pleased with the results so far. Here are pictures and more information:

I went to the Memorial VW show at the San Jacinto Monument park on Sunday May 18, 2008 (Houston) and took about 200 pictures. Had a great time. Here are the pictures from the VW Show:

There were probably about 200 + Volkswagens at this show. 164 entered the judging. Hard to have an actual count or photograph each one as VWs arrived and left throughout the day. Once the show was over many of us started our engines and drove out while others were packing up and trying to trailer their cars. There may have been around 50 + VWs leaving the park in the group I was in. As we exited the park we could see the smile on people's faces as they drove by watching all the Beetles and Buses pouring out onto the highway! Many slowed down to allow us to overtake them and pass. The sound of roaring vintage VWs filled the air in Houston/Pasadena that day. As I drove down the freeway I saw many "thumbs up" signs from people in the cars as I passed included some 18 Wheelers. I guess everyone loves the Beetle!

I am a car nut and happily married despite being a car nut. Have a very understanding wife who enjoys riding around in fun cars. Keeps me out of trouble!
I've got entirely too many cars and currently selling some. We have a Dodge Intrepid and Caravan as our primary cars. I also own 2 AMC Gremlins, a 67 VW Beetle, 69 VW Westfallia and a 83 Mazda RX-7.

My wife is from the Philippines and I sure enjoy traveling there. Her home town is Manila which is like Mexico City with the heavy traffic. Great stores, malls and markets though!

I like fun cars and to me that's cars that were popular at one time. For example; the VW air cooled powered Beetle and the AMC Gremlin which were everywhere at one time because they were great cars and very affordable. Now these cars are being customized and being transformed into some very exotic machines. Fun rides!

Rock and Pop

I'm not set on any one category. I like odd comedies like "Tremors" with Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward as well as Sci-Fi and the James Bond movies. The "Pink Panther" series with Peter Sellers are some of my all time favorites. I loved "Big Trouble in Little China" with Kurt Russel.

CSI, Forensic Files as well as Horsepower TV and Extreme 4X4.

How to Install and Use Nitrous Oxide ($14.95 Wal-Mart Online Books). I'm impressed with our misunderstood Nitrous Oxide is, but how easy it is to misuse. I plan to use this instead of my original idea of turbo-charging my next Gremlin engine that I'm building.. A Separate Peace was one of my favorites from the past. I read a lot of auto related news letters related to my business and try and keep up with the almost daily changes that occur in the automotive world.
